My Involvement in the Conference World
For years, I have been part of the organizing committee for the Agile World Conference in Munich, where I bring my expertise in agile methodologies. I also regularly serve as a reviewer at the OOP Conference and lead the Agile Games Track as Track Chair at Tools4AgileTeams together with Marc Bless. These roles enable me to actively share my knowledge and further develop the agile community.
I am an integral part of the Open Space conferences Agile Coach Camp Germany and Play4Agile (both in beautifull Rückersbach), where I promote agile practices through my participation and commitment. My international activities include roles as a reviewer and speaker at conferences of the Agile Alliance. In 2024 e.g. as Track Chair at the Agile Game Labs at Agile in Dallas, Tx, or as speaker at XP Conferenz Copenhagen (online because of Corona).
In addition to these, I have participated in numerous other conferences, including many European installments of the Global Scrum Gatherings. In Dublin (GSGDUB2017) I served as the ScrumMaster for volunteers. My participation also extends to events such as Scrum Day, Developer Days, ACM Siggraph, Microsoft Ignite & TechEd, DotNetDay Franken, ReConf, and Agile Games New England.
Although the pandemic has changed how conferences are conducted, switching to online formats has allowed me to expand my engagement and participation in events worldwide. For me, conferences are an indispensable platform for lifelong learning, networking, and inspiration, which I passionately use to share and expand my experiences.
